A celebration of those venturing to the furthest reaches of the planet
Since the 1930s, we have supported the world’s most intrepid explorers, including equipping the first expedition that successfully scaled Mount Everest some 70 years ago. Since then, we have moved from championing exploration for the sake of discovery to exploration aiding efforts to preserve fragile ecosystems.
Today, the Rolex Perpetual Planet Initiative supports conservation across vast areas of Earth, such as the Amazon River basin. The “Poles, Mountains and Forests Moment” is a celebration of those venturing to the furthest reaches of the planet in an effort to protect it for future generations.
