Excellence in motion

A shared movement

For almost 50 years, Rolex has enjoyed a special relationship with tennis, a sport with global appeal, whose history continues to be written with new challenges, new stories and new champions. Rolex and tennis share a set of strong founding values: the perpetual quest for excellence, the desire for technical precision, unwavering effort, a respect for tradition and pushing beyond personal limits.

Wimbledon

A major partner

Rolex and tennis first came together when the brand partnered with The Championships, Wimbledon, in 1978 as tennis was experiencing a powerful transformation.

The brand gradually forged links with all of the sport’s elite competitions. Rolex now partners the four Grand Slam® tournaments, all the major events in the men’s and women’s game and the leading international team contests.

Milestone victory in Melbourne

In January 2024, Rolex Testimonee Jannik Sinner won his maiden Grand Slam® title at Rod Laver Arena. He became the first Italian to win the Australian Open and only the third man from his country to claim a Grand Slam® singles crown. Building on this breakthrough, his stellar season would later include achieving the World No. 1 ranking and adding a second Grand Slam® trophy at the US Open. Rolex has supported him on this incredible journey to the top of his sport since welcoming him into the family of Testimonees in 2020.
